Rocket Valentine's

Homemade Valentine's, treat bags, teacher gift, baby gift, and many other craft ideas swarming through my head has made me so so tired today! You know what? I love it! Making Valentine rockets for my little man, heart shaped brownies, pink rice krispie treats shaped into hearts makes me ever so happy! Luke was so excited about his Valentine rockets. He has told several people about them, strangers included. If you know my little man, that is a little usual because he is somewhat of a shy guy. We also made heart shaped crayons for the treat bags which I was super excited about! Tomorrow is the party and Monday is the Valentine lunch at school! Fun, fun, fun! Hmmm... maybe I should start thinking about a birthday party for Kailyn. Can you believe my baby will be two in just a couple of weeks!! Where has the time gone?? What my (almost) two year old loves - jewelry, shoes, pink, babies, dresses, kitties, coloring, dancing, singing, ok you get the picture. She is all girl! Ok, more about her Pinkalicious party to come! All I know now is that it will be very small with lots of PINK.

Another Craft Day

"Toothless" gloves

navy hair clip

felt ring (I forgot about this one)

My good friend, Ashley, has inspired me to do more crafts. She has started a craft blog that is awesome! Check it out here! My most recent crafts have been more hair clips for Kailyn, dragon gloves for Luke (poor kid needed something), shirt for Kailyn, and Valentine goodies. I was up to my eyeballs in Valentine's today. Luke really wanted to make homemade Valentine's and I am in charge of treat bags - whew! It's really not that much, but I like to exaggerate. It is almost midnight and I am ALMOST done with Luke's Valentine's (he got tired of helping me after about 2 minutes this afternoon), teacher gift done except for wrapping, treat bags ALMOST complete, headband to match Kailyn's new shirt DONE. Thank goodness I was able to type DONE! All of these "almosts" were starting to give me palpitations! Here are a few pics of the shirt (which she insisted on wearing today over her dress) hair clip, and gloves.

More Crafts

new cupcake stand
how cute is that?

felt flower...love

look at my big girl!

crafting with my little helper (Luke was napping)

Ok, so I made another cupcake stand and have the dishes to make a third. Mark is a little concerned as to where we will store these pieces. So....if anyone is interested I may have an extra one to pass on. Leave me a comment and it may just be yours! I also made a couple of felt flowers. They were so fun and cute! There are so many things to do with them. I hot glued a pin to the back on mine so I can stick them on a purse or sweater. I will be making some for a headband for Kailyn as well.

It's been almost an entire week since I last posted! I don't even have an excuse like we were on vacation, I was sick, etc. Nope, nada, zippo excuses! What have we been up to? Well, a few playdates here, crafting, reading, painting, and more. Here a few of my crafts....
There you go Kristin!
